It is the 16th time that the popular art event, THE NIGHT OF THE ART COLLECTORS takes place in Budapest. Falk Miksa Street - as the main street of the city’s art quarter - will be the host of various exhibitions, concerts and presentations again.
Our gallery takes part in THE NIGHT OF THE ART COLLECTORS with three events:

The strong February launch to the auction season was followed by a not-so-strong March auction, even though this time there were fewer items and lower starting prices. It seems that higher priced items are more popular. Nevertheless, we will always keep lots from the lower starting price ranges to attract newcomers to the hunt.
The monthly auctions of Pintér Auction House continue in the spring of 2010. As with the autumn auctions, these will be mixed in their themes. Consignments are accepted continuously. You are invited to submit quality paintings, sculpture, furniture, collectibles, and jewellery for these auction sales. As usual, contemporary artists are invited to submit their artworks on a personal basis. The spring auctions will involve a reduced buyer's premium at 15%. The February catalogue is available online. See the dates below.
On behalf of the entire staff of Pintér Gallery, we are wishing all our customers, clients, and friends a Very Happy and Successful New Year! We look forward to seeing you in 2010.
Sonja and Péter Pintér
The unsold items from the autumn and Christmas auctions are available at starting price plus 50% buyer's premium until 23 December in Pintér Gallery. These prices still remain below the usual market prices and are therefore very favourable. Pintér Gallery welcomes visitors and customers in longer opening hours until the holidays: the Gallery is open every day (including Saturdays and Sundays) from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The charity draw connected to the Christmas Art Auctions of Pinter Auction House has been a success. The proceeds of the charity draw go to the Nagyszalonta orphanage run by Franciscan friar Csaba Böjte. The income from the tickets sold for the draw amounts roughly to the yearly living expenses of one child.
The upcoming Christmas art auction of Pintér Auction House will span three days on December 2nd (antique furniture), 3rd (classical pieces and jewellery) and 4th (classical and modern paintings and sculpture). The viewing of all three days' lots is taking place in Hungary's largest private art gallery (on nearly 2 thousand square metres) Pintér Gallery, from 12 November.
Aiming to help Csaba Böjte's orphanage in Nagyszalonta, Pintér Auction House will hold a charity draw connected to its three-day Christmas Art Auctions coming up this December. The winnings of the draw will be six works of contemporary art offered generously by the artists themselves.
The series of monthly auctions in Pinter Auction House continues with the November Art Auction at 6 p.m. on November 4th, 2009. The sale features classical paintings and artworks, as well as exclusive pieces of antique furniture, jewelry, and silverware.
